Romney’s record renders GOP’s best offensive strategies against Obama useless.

The Republicans claim they will do anything to make sure that Obama does not get another 4 years in office. But it’s obvious, to the astute observer, their hands are tied by Romney’s record. “Anyone but Obama” has been their mantra for quite some time. It’s obvious they mean anyone but Obama, except for Ron Paul.

With Romney as GOP’s presumptive nominee, the Republicans arsenal against Obama shrinks drastically. They really can’t go after Obamacare effectively. It was, after all, fashioned after Romney’s own healthcare legislation in Massachusetts.

They cannot attack Obama for signing NDAA which allows for the illegal, unconstitutional, indefinite detention of U.S. citizens by U.S. Military without a trial or formal charges. Romney has said that he too would have signed NDAA.

They cannot go after Obama’s stimulus programs and the 5 Trillion dollars of debt the Obama administration has managed to accumulate in just three and a half years. Romney is an open supporter of these spending programs. The list goes on and on.

Despite what some people may think there is good evidence that suggests that Romney and Obama agree on just about every major issue.

There is little doubt in my mind that Republicans have the evidence and the arguments that could prove disastrous for the Obama campaign in 2012 if only the message was delivered from the right man.

Perhaps an OBGYN who served as a flight surgeon in the military and delivered over 4000 babies in his private practice could better represent the peoples opposition to Obamacare. Or, perhaps, a man who has stood up for peoples liberty and fought against the tyrannical power grabs of big government  for over 3 decades would be better qualified to take on Obama on the signing of the NDAA. Perhaps, a man who has spent decades warning of the dangers of government deficit spending, fiat currencies, inflation and the federal reserve would be the best man to deliver death blow to Obama’s run for the presidency over his unheard of increase in the national debt without producing a single new net job in his first 3 and a half years in office.

Yes such a man does exist. This was not just an exercise in hypothesizing. His name is Ron Paul and he is still in the race, despite what the media has been reporting.

But because the Republicans are still scurrying to amass some sort of collusion behind Mitt Romney and not Ron Paul, the obvious, and most detrimental, evidence against Obama are being pushed aside in favor of arguments over who has most mistreated dogs.

Rachel Maddow seems to understand how to articulate the reasons why Obama cannot be permitted another 4 years in office. I’ve never been a real fan of Maddow but, in recent months, I’ve come to the point where I am tempted to change my mind.

She recently put together a piece, that every Republican across this country should be rallying behind to end Obama’s reign of terror.

But, sadly most are not. Except of course for one group, the Ron Paul supporters. You see Liberty has no parties and those involved with the liberty movement realize that both R’s and D’s are equally guilty of trampling on individual rights and bloating government far beyond it’s Constitutional Role.

At this point in the race, Ron Paul is clearly the only nominee who has a real chance of standing up to Obama on the big issues with any credibility. And to that point, I think it’s safe to say Ron Paul is the nominee with the best shot at beating Obama in November.

If you believe that Government spending is out of control and must be reigned in, if you believe that the Federal Reserve is the result of flawed economic thinking and must be abolished, if you believe that a decade of war resulting in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent people to the tune of 4+ Trillion dollars has to be stopped, if you believe that the Constitution of the United states provides more than adequate tools for defending the United States from all threats without sacrificing individual liberty, if you believe that politicians no matter if there is a R or a D behind their name are equally guilty of bloating government far beyond it’s Constitutionally intended role, NOW IS THE TIME TO SPEAK UP. Support Ron Paul!
